Our story

N-PAX was established in 2002 and started its very first software development center in Cebu, Philippines. It began by serving local companies and eventually partnered with international companies to provide outsourced software development services.

With the experience the company gained over the years of providing software development services to its clients, N-PAX developed its own intellectual property and launched its software products to market in 2005 — WorkMate PLUS and N-XPERT Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).

Founded on 13 August 2002 in Cavite, Philippines, N-PAX today has more than 300 employees, with offices in Cebu and Manila (BGC). In Japanese, we are エヌパックス.

The N-PAX group includes N-PAX Cebu Corporation, N-PAX Philippines, Inc. and N-PAX Systems and Consulting, Inc.

  • Wilson Ng

    Chairman of the Board

    Read profile

    Wilson Ng graduated Bachelor of Business Management, Cum Laude, from the University of the Philippines in 1986. He pursued his passion in technology and studied Computer Programming at Eber Institute of Technology. He started his career in software development working in Taiwan as a computer programmer for two years before coming back to the Philippines, and combined his entrepreneurial spirit and love for technology to start his own technology company in his hometown of Cebu. His business ventures have since grown to over eight companies employing over 700 associates.

    He graduated with a Master in Business Administration from the City University of Hong Kong in 2004, and in the same year was awarded Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Philippine small business. He was a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional from 2003 to 2009. To share his knowledge and expertise, Wilson Ng has written for Sunstar Daily as a tech columnist since 1994. He is pursuing his Doctorate of Business Administration at City University, Hong Kong.

  • Jimmy Flores

    President

    Read profile

    Jimmy Flores is the President of N-PAX and heads its ERP Division. He joined N-PAX in 2006 and spearheaded the modernisation of the HR/Payroll and Financial Systems to Microsoft technology. He brought with him the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, for which he leads product engineering and design as well as sales and marketing. For more than 12 years he has been mainly responsible for bringing clients, mostly Japanese-owned corporations, to the company.

    Jimmy graduated High School Valedictorian and Cum Laude in college with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, passing the engineering board examination in 1989. He launched his career in the electronics and manufacturing industry focusing on Electronic Data Processing, Production Control, Process Engineering and Quality Assurance, was part of the committee that established ISO 14000, OHSAS 18000 and TS 16949, and was elected Quality Management Representative for QS 9000 and ISO 9000.
